Performance
CLAAS has introduced many new upgrades to this VARIANT round baler class so that your baler can take on any tough challenge in the field. This outstanding performer now features a reworked 360-degree rotor with 14 blades called Roto Cut and a spiral rotor for uniform crop flow called Roto Feed. These new components work well with any crop condition to deliver consistently better-shaped bales for you. In addition to this, CLAAS has integrated a hydraulically lowerable PRO cutting floor (465 RC). This mechanism adjusts automatically to the forage crop flow and includes an early warning alarm.
Quality
CLAAS understands that high-quality machine components are necessary to generate high-quality bales, and that is why they have introduced several new features to ensure you get the best round bales out of this VARIANT class. One of the new and improved parts of this baler is the wrapping and tying components. These have a completely reworked guiding plate that opens during baling and closes during wrapping or tying. The wrapping system also provides bale coverage right up to the edge with an additional option to provide extra coverage that extends over the edges. Furthermore, this baler’s new rotor additions (Roto Cut and Roto Feed) produce significantly more bales per hour without sacrificing quality.
Technology
User-friendly, convenient operation is one of the main focuses of CLAAS when it comes to utilizing these balers. That is why they took the time to create an easy-to-use display terminal called the Communicator. You can control just about anything on the baler from this display screen. It also conforms to the Iso UT standard and allows control of Isobus-compatible implements from the Communicator. In addition to the Communicator, this baler also includes another display terminal screen called the Operator. This technology allows you to do many different actions as well, including convenient customer management as well as having 28 job memories for easy job deployment.
