Innovation
In order to maintain tension and build consistently even bales, the 1745's balanced tension system uses twin hydraulic cylinders with an additional 2 springs. Furthermore, the 1745 utilizes wedge grip forming belts with alligator laces in order to positively grip incoming hay and build consistent dense bales. These belts let you easily bale a wide range of crops and can be easily serviced as needed.

Massey Ferguson’s 1700 series of round balers require as little as 30 PTO HP to produce easy-to-handle, solid round bales. These economical round balers feature Hesston’s legendary drive system, resulting in long-lasting performance, reduced maintenance and overall lower operating costs. Interested in gathering, loading, transporting and storing fewer hay bales without reducing your overall harvest yield? The 1745 model is capable of packing 1250 lbs into a dry bale. This is 25% more than competitors, saving you time and money. The 1745 also includes top features that other competitors only include on their premium round balers. This includes a new mesh system, 2-cylinder and 2-spring density system, and wedge grip forming belts. In addition, the tying time for twine is significantly decreased due to a single arm that applies two twines at once.
