The 2800 M Series comes with a standard 540 RPM rear PTO and has an optional 2000 RPM mid-mount PTO. Both are electrohydraulically controlled to ensure smooth, chatter-free actuation. The smooth SoftStart modulation on these compact Massey Ferguson tractors reduces jolts, wear and tear and the chance of downtime. A standard rear 3-point Cat I or I/II hitch on these Massey Ferguson compact tractors provides generous lift capacities and easy hook up of implements.

The 2800M Series of compact tractors feature a rear-mounted stationary PTO switch. This makes it easy to engage and disengage the PTO from the rear of tractor, which is perfect for when using an auger, wood splitter or generator. Hydrostatic Features

The Massey Ferguson 2850 M and 2860 M models of the 2800 M Series of compact tractors come with an optional 3-range Hydrostatic Transmission. This hydrostatic transmission includes an auto-throttle feature that automatically raises engine speed to match ground speed so that you have the power needed to keep pace. Also includes is a cruise control feature that lets you set a precise working speed. Simple to use, you just engage and go. Press the brake pedal or forward pedal to disengage. A handy shuttle-shift level located on the steering column of these compact tractors allows you to change direction quickly and easily, which is ideal for loader work.
